Join us for a special Serve & Learn volunteer event at The Ditch! Volunteers will help us collect seeds from our dormant and dying sunflower and rattlesnake master plants as we prepare the garden for winter. Afterward, we’ll turn our efforts into creativity, using the harvested seeds to make bird feeders for our local wildlife!

All materials and supplies will be provided. This is a great opportunity to give back, learn something new, and support the native species that call our garden home.

What to expect:

• Light outdoor work: collecting seeds and clearing garden areas

• A hands-on educational activity: creating bird feeders from collected materials

• All supplies and tools provided

• Great for individuals, families, and groups
